Ketos in December

17-18  dicembre 2014. Giuliana, Anna, Ilaria e Mario imbarcati sulla MV Zeus Palace. Ottima accoglienza da parte dell’equipaggio. Nessun avvistamento  di cetacei nell’area di studio . Osservato tanto marine litter nel Golfo di Tunisi. Al di fuori dell’area di studio (Tirreno meridionale) diversi avvistamenti di stenelle (Stenella coeruleoalba).

19-20 dicembre 2014. Nessun avvistamento di cetacei nell’area di studio, elevato traffico marittimo nel Canale di Sicilia. Numerosi avvistamenti di stenelle (anche un gruppo di circa 60 individui) nel Tirreno meridionale.

17 to 18 December 2014. Giuliana, Anna, Ilaria and Mario boarded the MV Zeus Palace. Great welcome from the crew. No sightings of cetaceans in the main study area. Great quantity of marine litter recorded in the Gulf of Tunis. Outside of the main study area (southern Tyrrhenian Sea) several sightings of striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba).

19 to 20 December 2014. No sightings of cetaceans in the study area, high maritime traffic in the Strait of Sicily. Numerous sightings of striped dolphins (including a group of about 60 individuals) in the southern Tyrrhenian Sea
